Email Merge With Attachment Can I Mail Merge A Document As An Email Attachment And Protect The Document Somehow So It Can't Be Altered?

Can I mail merge a document as an email attachment and protect the document somehow so it can't be altered? - email merge with attachment

I have to, we send you our vendors an official document to be signed, but I will not be able to edit the document in any way. Can I protect the document, but still a merge bit, if certain information relating to direct mail as usual? But a merger is to send print and mail!

Which version of Word?
Mine is
Tools> Protect Document> Forms> Forgot Type

You can write on paper, you have needs that can be edited. If you do not know how the forms created, then the easiest thing in the area of the company
Forms toolbar Profile
Click the Insert Text Form Field
then protect the document.
Now you can check the signature area.

Use of this merger with the mail that I have not tried this yet - I see no reason why not try - the first original document - the transmission of the text form field. Created from the merger. View a sample letter and possibly the protection of the lot.

I think you have 2 options:

1. Make your mail merge as normal, then save each letter individually and then protect each with a password (Tools -) protect the document. You can not change, a portion of the document, but can not sign up for the pressure, (then sign and return by fax to you or scan and e-mail).

2. Another possibility would be to make your final individual mail merged documents stored in PDF format. You can use the Adobe PDF Writer and print your documents. The PDF Creator can be the areas in which they can digitally sign and the rest of blank paper. You can then on you as an attached file.

Hope this helps!
